An associate of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Mr Femi Fani-Kayode, has described the reply of President Goodluck Jonathan to Obasanjo’s letter as shallow.
Fani-Kayode, a former minister of aviation, stated this during a telephone interview last night while reacting to Jonathan’s response to Obasanjo’s letter.
He said, “It is inadequate, shallow; it is inconsequential and it lacks merits.
If he ( President Jonathan) is waiting for an apology from former President Obasanjo for raising fundamental questions about his administration, our nation and the welfare of our nation, he would wait forever.”
All efforts made to get Obasanjo’s reaction through his chief of staff, Deacon Victor Durodola, were fruitless as many calls and several text messages sent to his phone were unanswered at about 12:30am. Click to signup for FREE news updates, latest information and hottest gists everyday

Maybe FFK can tell us who killed Bola Ige, who took bribes from Siemens and Halliburton. How someone can become a multi-billionaire on his salary as President of Nigeria. OR go from N20,000 in 1999 to Billionaire status without inventing anything, selling just eggs and chicken products in 15 years!!!
ReplyDeleteOdi and Zaki Biam killings require answers too.
It is best for some of these oldies to just keep quiet and enjoy their loot.
God will punish all of you right here on earth and in the hereafter. Mssssh!!!!

ReplyDeleteFEMI or FFK u are really a sick man.To describe this letter from Jonathan as shallow and lacking merit is clear indication that you speak with no brains.I AM JUST WONDERING HOW YOU GOT TO THE OFFICE OF A MINISTER.I pitty this country because the image you project as a former minister of aviation to the international community and others with access to your publications on NE is that of ''what,is this the type of people who governs nigeria''.PLS TRY NOT TO BE BLIND FOLDED BY YOUR ETHNIC SENTIMENTS AND CONTINUE TO RIDDICLE THE ENTIRE NATION'S IMAGE IN THE EYE OF THE FOREINGNERS.
ReplyDeleteThis so called Femi do not have a serious job in your hands, rather you don't have something better to think of, I have always been seeing his write up like an editor of a news paper. Why do you want to bring another persons write up down as if yours is the best. The letter he refered to is one of the best which a plain hearted someone could write, even to an elderly person in the face of anger, GEJ responded perfectly well, the letter reflects no negative words, but what came from his heart according to the oat he mentioned to have sworn. Let us all promote peace and development in our works, attitudes and our offices, Nigeria can be, and will be a grate country that everyone will enjoy without stilling, either public or private funds and other fetish things in the name of riches. I know few countries arround the world that enjoy such, you can sleep on the street over night, no fly will touch you till day brake, you can leave your car engine running while use the ATM or enter a store, everyone respect one another, including high people to the common people. So peaceful atmospere. Nigeria can get there, where politicians can walk freely on the street whithout a fear, only when we all do the right things to put the country back in shape.
