IN PICTURES: President Jonathan Unveils Locally Made Drone




President Goodluck Jonathan today unveiled a a drone made by the Nigeria Airforce. However, the drone named "GULMA" was not tested in flight.

  1. not tested in flight ke? Our drones are for the roads, were it will run, get hooked up in traffic, then the battery go die and it will need to be pushed, area boys will hijack it and it will be kidnapped!

    Why is it a drone if it does not fly!

  6. My brothers wey don comment before, I hail o!! That rubbish is as good as a locally made childish/toyish babbash... If it can't fly, why would the name, "drone" ever be attatched to that rubbish? Which way are we really going in this Nigeria?

  8. So sad the level we have gotten ourselves to,even if we see the drone flying we might still not be sure if it the one we actually launched or some abracadabra because our leaders are capable of anything .

  11. what we need in Nigeria is a system even the said Drone is a system and for a system to work properly all the component parts has to be fit and properly fit to run for nigeria to advance in any aspect of development there must be a clear road map to our destination over time then the system can now run from the government through her agencies to the private sector and back to the government is at this point we can start making head way.the key word there is that we must be real for once.consistency and follow up must be there as well
