We now repair our aircraft in Nigeria - Chief of Air Staff

Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Alex Badeh, has said that the Air Force now maintains its aircraft in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, adding that the development was saving the Air Force huge sums of money that would have been spent on such maintenance outside the country.

The Air Force boss, who spoke during a tour of facilities of the 97 Special Operations Group, SOG, of the Nigerian Air Force, Port Harcourt, said that the technological development would also generate revenue for the Air Force.

“In Port Harcourt, we are fixing aircraft locally.”
