Power Outage At MMA Airport In Lagos, airlines use torchlight to assist customers to get on board.

Around 7:45pm on thursday night, the entire Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos suffered massive power outages leading to disruptions in flight operations at the airport. The power outagest happened twice according to a journalist, Ahmed Salkida, who witnessed the blackout.
The first blackout which happened at 7:45pm lasted for some minutes. A second one, started at 8:06 PM and lasted for more than one hour.
Salkida, who a passenger on a Dubai bound Emirates flight said the boarding is currently going on in complete darkness as the airliner deploys torchlight to assist customers to get on board.
