The burial of the Ondo State commissioner of Culture and Tourism, Deji Falae, took place today in Akure the Ondo State capital.
Mr. Falae died in the tragic Associated Airline air crash that killed 15 people on October 3rd 2013. The Embraer EMB-120 aircraft with 20 people on board plunged to the ground shortly after take off from the local wing of the Murtala International Airport in Lagos.
The chartered flight was conveying the remains of former Ondo State, governor, Olusegun Agagu from Lagos to Akure.
Mr. Falae's burial was witnessed by his wife Mrs. Eseh Falae, his brother Barrister Deji Falae and his children, Wuraola, Ayorinde and Oreoluwa. The funeral service took place at the funeral service St David's Anglican Cathedral, Ijomu, Akure
Also in attendance was the Ondo State Governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, his wife, Olukemi and the Deputy Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Hon Dare Emiola
