He said they were complaining because they could not carry out their plan to rig the election.
Umeh said this on Sunday, while briefing journalists on last Saturday governorship poll in the state.
Umeh laughed at claims by opposition parties that the election was flawed.
He said the opposition parties were crying because their attempts to rig the elections failed.
According to him, “They felt disappointed that the INEC did not give them room to carry out their plans to obstruct the election.”
The APGA leader said the party was satisfied with the conduct of the elections.
“The INEC Chairman, Attahiru Jega, has fulfilled his promise of conducting the freest election ever since he (Jega) assumed office,” stated Umeh.
Umeh also faulted the decision of a leader of APC, Mallam Nasir-el-Rufai to visit the state during the election. He alleged that the politician was there to rig election.
Meanwhile, Dr. Ifeany Ubah of the Labour Party has said that the integrity of INEC Chairman, Prof. Attahiru Jega, was at stake for the shoddy election he presided over in Anambra State. Click to signup for FREE news updates, latest information and hottest gists everyday
