President Goodluck Jonathan has sacked Mrs Aisha Umar from office as his Senior Special Assistant.
This was contained in a press statement issued Sunday by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation Senator Anyim Pius Anyim.
A terse statement issued on Sunday in Abuja by Mr. Sam Nwaobasi, the Special Assistant (Media) to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim with Ref. No: PPR/OSGF/PR/02 did not however give any reason for the action.
According to him, the termination of Umar’s appointment was “with effect from the November 25, 2013.”
The President had exactly three months ago sacked the Minister of Youth Development, Inuwa Abdulkadir, over the mishandling of the National Youth Council of Nigeria’s elections in Makurdi and Minna which resulted in the factionalisation of NYCN.
The President has also sacked his Special Adviser on National Assembly Matters, Mrs. Joy Emordi and his Special Adviser on the New Partnership for Africa’s Development, Dr. Tunji Olagunju.

You sack people for no reason but the corrupt ones like Odua and Diazene are still in your portfolio. You seriously need divine wisdom Mr. President!
