El-Rufai came to rig Anambra election – APGA Chairman, Victor Umeh

National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, Chief Victor Umeh, has said that Mallam Nasir El-Rufai attempted to rig the Anambra State governorship election.

Chief Umeh made this allegation on Sunday, while briefing journalists on last Saturday guber polls in the state.

The APGA national chairman also said that the former minister of the Federal Capital Territory deserved the in-house detention he got from men of the State Security Service.

The SSS officials had prevented him from leaving the hotel where he lodged on election day.

Umeh alleged that the All Progressives Congress imported El-Rufai into Anambra State with the sole aim of bribing electoral officers to its favour.

He wondered what El-Rufai would have come to do in the state on a day it was holding its governorship election.

  2. Umeh....You have said it as it is. El-Rufai is the most dangerous and most corrupt politician Nigeria has ever known and will ever know. Letting him come to Anambra State was bad enough. However, it is a good thing that steps were taken early to keep him in his 'CAGE'. Kudos to you!

  5. This is the height of foolishness coupled with un paralleled madness for mr Umeh to claim that an individual was in Anambara state to rig an election that was already pre-rigged to favour Umeh led PDP/APGA.
We all know the horse trading and politics of compromise that is playing out in Anambara state between PDP and APGA.
This was the fall out of the accord between PDP and APGA in other to oust the peoples governor Chris Ngige through the shameless confession of Chris Uba.

Gov Obi of the state said worse than this on Channels TV, on Sunday. After watching oand listening to his hell raising diatribe, I paused to wonder what the whole country would have been hit with if what Obi said to and about El-Rufai was said to an Ibo person by a none Ibo. Everyone else is fair game in the hands of Ibo people for all sorts of negative treatment.
