According to her, some metal objects were found in the vehicle which does not look like the conventional bullet.

“The objects will be subjected to ballistic test,” she said.

According to her, investigation into the incident has begun.

Also, confirming the shooting, Special Adviser to the minister, Mr Joe Obi, said that the attack took place at the Ministers’ Hill, Maitama in the FCT.

“Fortunately, the minister was not in the car at the time the attack took place.

“An official report has been made to the police and the police are currently investigating it, ” Obi said.

It can be recalled that Ms Stella Oduah, remains under immesnse presuure over her role in the purchase of two N255m luxury cars with many Nigerians calling for her sack and prosecution. The minister in her defense cited "Protection" as the basis for acquiring the N225m bullet-proof cars, and not for luxury.

  4. In Nigeria, some people like drivers has no life, when there is a fictional shot at a vehicle, the assumed target is the Oga at the top. If the same vehicle hits somebody, the Oga must not be blamed. Were the police on recess only to reconvene on Monday? Let's wait for a presidential committee to investigate.

  34. Minister Oduah, you are lucky that your assailants or your hired actors to stage this episode of your travail are not like sergent Barnabars and Rogers of Al-Mustapha.
You cannot fool us. It will be of more honour for you to just resign and face the consequencies of your actions and greed instaead of all these cover up attempts. It would have been better if this has come up earlier before the purchase of those vehicles. Oh! minister, what a miscalculation?
Dear minister, thou shall not cover thy sins so that thou may prospereth. Confess! Confess!! Confess!!! Acknowledge thy misdeeds and if possible expose others, so that you may be free and upright.. Think about it.

  40. The Nigeria Police IG, Oduah Stella and whoever actor is involved in this stage play are the biggest fool of this millenium! Chai!!! What do you take Nigerians for??? Anyway, keep sowing, your children and even children's children will reap the fruits of your misdeeds! As for Stella, you've actually predicted how your death will eventually come - so get ready! If you do good, why scared of assasination? Why would people even want to assisinate you? When the evil doers tried to eliminate Dora, a wonderful and upright woman, they never succeded, eventhough a bullet pierced her headgear. As for you Stella, you already have a space in the pit of HELL!

  41. U know, we can all air our views & still not use swear words like bitch, bastard etc like some of us use here. It's so uncouth & immature. I believe we are all adults ( we shld all be at least 18 yrs). Such use of words are highly unacceptable on media like this. It doesn't show maturity one bit. As leaders of tomorrow, if we can't be mature in our deeds & words, no body will take us seriously. Don't think they don't read this. Pls mind your language.

All of you can say whatever you like but one thing is for sure ,non of you is God . How many of you have ever asked why the hotel being built at the opposite MMA2 has not been finished for years? You cannot ask any question because the OLE handling it is a Yoruba man, thieves . You want to kill the woman because she is uncovering the avenues the criminal in the guise of a lawyer is stealing aviation money . What is 255m naira to that woman? Aborishade and Fan-Kayode ended up accusing each other of over 22bn of aviation fund and you feel everybody is like that .
