“Sack Stella Oduah and you lose Ndi-Igbo votes in 2015″- Igbo Progressive Union warns President Jonathan.

The Igbo Progressive Union, IPU yesterday sound a note of warning to President Goodluck Jonathan not to dare think of sacking Stella Oduah, the Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation as being clamoured by many Nigerians over her scandalous purchase of two bullet proof BMW cars at the outrageous sum of N225million, if he does, the president should forget about Ndigbo votes in 2015

The group gave the threat at during a protest against public outcry, calling for the sack of the embattled minister.

Nigeria, a country where we celebrate criminals. If not why would anybody, group or individual stands and be identified with a criminal? When shall this country be saved from the hands of tyrannies? May God come to the rescue of Nigeria. A country where criminals are celebrated and shielded in the name of tribal affiliate.

  4. I don't believe all the Igbos are as daft and blind as the Igbo Progressive Union. The IPU should simply bury its head in shame for coming out openly to support corruption. What is the essence of a union which is deeply rooted in corruption? Sensible people who think of the future should quickly dissociate themselves from such a group.

  19. IPU does not speak for us, the Igbos. So, let's ignore their threat. Stella Odua should not continue to serve as the Minister of Aviation, or any similar capacity. She is a severely damaged good that must be got rid of, if the President wants to be taken seriously. A good compromise would be to replace her with another Igbo person. She brought it upon herself, and should pay for her sin. Evil is evil, and should be treted as such, regardless of the individual's tribe of orgin. That's the only way that Nigeria can make progress.

  21. WHY ALL THIS HULLABALO AND MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, IT IS AS IF SOME PEOPLE GO ABOUT LOOKING FOR A PLATFORM TO INSULT THERE FELLOW MAN. FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, WHO PUBLISHED THE COMMITTEE FINDINGS ON THE ISSUE NOT TO TALK OF DECLARING ODUAH GUILTY AS CHARGED? WHY NOT SHOW A LITTLE CIVILISATION BY AVOIDING PERJURY IN YOUR COMMENTS? WHOEVER IS BEATING HIS GONG IN UNCHECKED ANGER SHOULD REMEMBER THAT THE REVERBRATION CUTS BEYOND HIS PERSONALITY.
