The Chairman of the Kwara State Independent Electoral Commission, Dr. Uthman Ajidagba, on Sunday declared candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party as winners of the Local Government elections in the state on Saturday.
He stated that the PDP chairmanship candidates for the remaining 15 LG councils and the councillorship candidates in the 181 wards of the state won the elections.
He accordingly declared them winners.
Though Ajidagba announced the number of votes scored by the chairmanship candidates of the PDP, he however did not declare the scores of the 181 councillorship candidates of the party in the election.
