Funke and Nkem Owoh are currently on set shooting a yet to be released movie, named 'school children'.
Mercy Johnson is also on set of a movie “Dumebi Goes To School” which is a sequel to the hilarious “Dumebi The Dirty Girl’.
Fans not too pleased with the trend, criticized Nollywood for using adults for children roles.

Anyway,I have never been a fan of Nigeria movie ,mean wile all dey produce are melo dramas ,cos dey lack initiatives n gud story line since inception .

ReplyDeleteI think Nollywood is out of ideas and lost their sence of direction all in the name of comedy. Becasue if they have not,tell me how full old grown actors/Actresses would be dressed like old kids with their grey hair pretending to be children.

ReplyDeleteThis is not d first time Ds type of role snatching will happen as it has always bothered me why children audition cud not be conducted for children roles vice versa. Must these old people accept such 'baby roles'? Can't dey even decline for once? D viewing audience is being taken for granted for too long. If pole stop buying such films DAT shd teach Dem a lesson. Imagine how mothers and father look in their children' s uniforms!
ReplyDeleteThe film is about fun, not reality why kill yourselves, using adults for kids in itself is funny and that is what the film is about. Guys think. na wa...o. These guys are correct and that is just what I feel they want to achieve, they have just done that. You do not understand the art of acting (reality).
