The NWC members according to the statement are Abubakar Baraje, Chairman; Sam Jaja, Deputy National Chairman; Olagunsoye Oyinlola, National Secretary; and Maode Hiliya, Deputy National Secretary.

Others are Timi Frank, National Youth Leader; Binta Koje, National woman leader; Nasir Issa, National Organising Secretary; Eze Chukwuemeka, National Publicity Secretary; Hon Wadada, National Financial Secretary; and Tanko Gomna, National treasurer.

The statement added that “the positions of National Auditor and that of National Legal Adviser which are zoned to the South East and South West respectfully, will be announced soon.”

Meanwhile, PREMIUM TIMES visited the national secretariat of the faction on Monday and observed that the place is still sealed by the police.

An Armoured Personnel Carrier, APC, with registration number NPF 5229 C was parked at the main entrance to the street while about a dozen mobile policemen were seen stationed in various spots along the road leading to the office.

Monday’s statement was also quiet about the faction’s threat to sue the Inspector General of Police over the closure of the secretariat.

  2. This is getting more interesting. GEJ should dialogue with his aggreived colleagues and stop the fruitless show of bravado.

  3. See men on HIGH TABLE though, some people are annoyed.

Understanding shall never reign in the camp of PDP for ever more.

  4. GEJ will end up messing himself. If he is good and competent the way he and his sycophants are claiming, he doesnt need to fight or force himself to power, Nigerians will fight and put him the way they did in 2011. He is a failure.
