A housewife, Mrs. Yemisi Sosu, wants an Agege Grade ‘A’ Customary Court to dissolve her marriage as her husband, Sunday Sosu, is married to another lady in the United States of America (USA).
The 31-year-old woman said that their union was not blessed with any child.
She said that her husband resided in Dubai but his parents lived in Nigeria, and it was in Nigeria they met and dated for a year after which they did their traditional wedding in 2011.
Yemisi stated that about the third day after their wedding, Sunday left home for the USA, where he got married to another woman. According to her, since then, she has been living with her husband’s family hoping that he will come home, only for one of the family members to tell her that Sunday had re-married.

Nigerian girls will not stop this silly habit of jumping at anybody from "jand"? They barely know each other but because the guy allegedly lives in America she agreed to marry him.
ReplyDeleteThis is not the first time I have seen and heard of such a thing. Yes it is truly a bad habit most Nigerian girls have. She was lucky to have heard it from a relative. He would have rushed back to impregnate her so she can have a child here for him and he ends up having the 'best' of both worlds. Sick!
ReplyDeleteMen should stop this attitude of over-generalization. Does it mean that NO Nigerian girl marries for love? I wont pray for u to see things the other way thru ur female kids or sisters. Or is it a crime to live abroad? Should they be avoided because they live abroad? For ur info, majority of these men prefer to marry here as they say that it's more difficult to get good wives there. Abeg, leave these girls instead tell yourselves to be truthful n have the fear of God in you
