Abubakar made the promise in Abuja while answering questions from State House correspondents over the police officer dismissed on Wednesday for demanding N25,000 bribe from a motorist in Lagos,.
He said the punishment was not too harsh and warned that any police officer caught in corrupt practices would not be spared.
“You can see that we are IT compliant; we know what is happening in the YouTube, we know what is happening all over the world.
“We believe that we have to do what is right. We monitor our officers and men. Sometimes we even set them up to ensure that we get them on the act.
“I will not run a corrupt police service.’’

He enjoined the people to continue to support the law enforcement agencies by providing them with useful information to address insecurity across the country.

The IGP should be aware that some bad eggs in the force have gone very ICT compliant. They now go about seizing blackberry from innocent people and before you say Jack they would have load implicating materials on your phone and will use that to harass you to be an internet fraudster.
ReplyDeleteAsk Sunny of Pedro Divisional HQ in Lagos, he should be able to explain to the IGP how he perform this magic to implicate unsuspecting Nigerians since he is the head of the syndicate.
Sunny should be a coporal and he goes about telling people that he's a smart guy because he grew up in Pedro Barracks and he knows everything about the area.
