“We have arrested her and she is presently in custody. She will be made to undergo an orderly room trial and the outcome will be made public,’’ Braide said.

When asked to provide the name and the station the female cop was attached, Braide said she could not immediately provide the details and told our correspondent to call back.

Subsequent calls placed to her phone were not answered. A text message sent to her phone on the matter was also not replied.
In the last 24 hours, the one-minute 25 seconds video, which first appeared on YouTube, has attracted double the amount of views, moving from 23,000 to over 46, 000 as at the time of this report.
In the footage, the policewoman was heard insisting on collecting the N100 bribe from a driver who she apprehended for violating a traffic rule at a yet-to-be identified location in Lagos.
The driver who had passengers in the bus was heard appealing to her that he should be allowed to proceed on his journey. But the driver’s pleas fell on deaf ears as the policewoman insisted on collecting the bribe.
The policewoman was heard saying, “E no concern me. Pay me my own money.”

  5. Go to Oshodi, Ikotun and see what POLICE women without uniform are doing, collecting #100 from every commercial bus. I have been to secretly video them. I know I will. Am very sure the various DPOs are aware because RETURNS are made, if not why can't the senior Officers or their Taxforce go after them with the complain all over, over the time. Sometime one wonder if POLICE do have and keep records of their personnels, if not how would a POLICE man ia seen sitting infront of a commercial bus(LT) going round Lagos from Badagry to Okokomaiko to Iyana Oba, Mile 2, APAPA, CMS,Obalende,Oshodi etc without check. The POLICE women at Oshodi Oke look more like Harlots and Agberos.DPOs you are the ones who detail your men and women out from the Station, what report can you give? You all have a share in extortion. Have you seen any two Nigerian POLICE man or woman with the same SHOE?

IT WAS LAST YEAR NOV. 2012 AT ABOUT 4PM AT OSHODI-OKE THAT THE SAME WOMAN POLICE CAUGHT NOW CAME TO BUS I WAS IN, GOING TO MILE 2 TO EXTORT FROM THE DRIVER. I ASKED HER WHAT THE MONEY SHE IS DEMANDING FROM THE DRIVER IS FOR. SHE RETORTED, "I NO TALK TO YOU, KEEP QUITE, WETIN CONCERN YOU" WHEN I BARKED BACK AT HER, SHE SAID "GO TO HELL" WHEN I LOOKED VERY WELL AT HER, SHE LOOKED MORE AN AGBERO, WITH A TARTERED JEANS TROUSERS, A SMALL TEE-SHIRT ALLOWING HER ARMPIT DRIPPING WITH WATER/SWEAT BECAUSEOF THE WAY SHE RUNS AFTER BUSES. ON THE 2ND OF AUGUST, 2013 ON MY WAY FROM YABA TO OSHODI-MILE 2, I WAS IN AN LT COMMERCIAL BUS WITH ONE THOSE POLICE MEN WHO ARE ALWAYS IN FRONT SEAT OF THE BUS FROM BADAGRY TO OKOMAIKO, IYANA OBA, MILE 2, CMS, OBALENDE, OWOROSHOKI, OSHODI....,AT OSHODI OKE, THIS SAME POLICE WOMAN IN HER USUAL "DUTY" CAME TO EXTORT THE DRIVER, IMMEDIATELY SHE RECOGNISED ME, SHE SAID "SHEBI YOU SEE SAY I DEY WHERE I DEY, IF YOU NO LIKE GO IG I STILL DEY HERE, YOU STUPID MAN WEY FIT MIND HIM BUSINESS. I WAS FORCED TO ASKED THE POLICE MAN BY SIDE ( THE COMMEERCIAL BUS ESCORT IF REALY SHE IS A POLICE AND THE MAN SAID SHE IS. GOD I THANK YOU BECAUSE YOU HAVE PLACE TIME SPACE FOR EVERTHING THAT HAPPENS ON EARTH.NO WONDER WHEN I PASSED THROUGH OSHODI YESTERDAY, NONE OF THOSE OTHER POLICE WOMEN WERE FOUND EXTORTING. HOW I WISH THE DPO OF OSHODI WILL NOT DECIEVE US FOR NOW BY REMOVING THEM BUT BRING THEM BACK WHEN THE ROUGH WATER MUST HAVE SETTLED DOWN.PLEASE NIGERIANS CONTINUE TO TAKE THEIR PICTURES AND VIDEO WHERE EVER AND WHENEVER YOU THEM EXTORTING THE PUBLIC.
