Former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, (FCT), Malam Nasir el-Rufai, has said President Goodluck Jonathan is the worst Nigerian President, describing the zoning formula of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as a failure.
This is as el-Rufai who is also the Deputy National Secretary of APC said President Goodluck Jonathan is the most incompetent leader ever produced in Nigeria.
Speaking at the distribution of poverty alleviation materials of APC senator representing Kaduna Central, General Mohammed Saleh (rtd) in Kaduna yesterday, el-Rufai said APC was working toward a credible election in 2015.
On his part, former speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Bello Masari, noted that PDP was already afraid of the APC having seen its strength, adding that the party is the alternative to PDP.
However el-Rufai who was answering questions from newsmen stated that, “We want credible election so that we kick out those who have been embezzling our public funds and destroying our institutions”.
He said the woes in the country are caused by the PDP. “It is mostly a PDP issue because it controls about 24 states in Nigeria and the kind of leadership that it provides is an example for everyone. “PDP is the biggest problem and also the followership is also another problem of its own; the major problem of Nigeria is the toxic party called the PDP.
The fact that one is in PDP does not mean that when you recognise that the party has gone toxic you should not leave, can you compare General Buhari with anyone in the PDP?
“We are offering Nigerians an alternative and fresh approach to governance that is inclusive, honest and fair that will serve the people and not that which will serve the pockets of a few”, he said.
On the 2015 presidency, he noted that: “I don’t think the North and the South are the issue, what Nigeria needs is a competent president, whether he is from the North or South; it is immaterial to us in APC.
“We want competent governors that will serve the people, whether blue, black, from the moon or south we are not concerned with that, and I think Nigerians should stop voting people on the basis of where they come from. President Jonathan is the most incompetent president in Nigeria from.
Also speaking at the same event in Kaduna, Masari said, “PDP is only afraid of the emergence of APC; they are aware of the strength of the party and certainly APC is an alternative to PDP”.
He boasted that “APC will form the next state and National government come 2015. PDP is the unpopular party in Nigeria today, what you see in PDP is government officials.
“The present administration’s performance under President Jonathan’s leadership is very disappointing, it has not delivered anything, no security, power, there is nothing you can say is the achievement of the PDP government,” he said.
Senator Saleh distributed 15 Peugeot cars (406), 350 motorcycles and 80 deep fridges to members of his constituency as part of his contribution to their welfare.

ReplyDeleteMallam El Rufia is the BEST PRESIDENT NIGERIA WOULD NEVER HAVE.

ReplyDeleteThe picture you have on your profile shows that you are going through some had time especially hunger. Like a writer said above,"You are the best president Nigeria will never have". Please think of how to arrange your life and stop blabbing.
ReplyDeleteEl Rufai and co. It is for the purpose of condemning Jonathan's administration that you all came up with Boko Haram ehn, God will surely purnish all of you sabotuers.
ReplyDeleteFoolish El Rufai trying to compare Buhari with anyone from PDP, a man who has vowed to make anothers' administration ungovernable simply because he lost election.
My dear pple, the devil you know is better than the angel you have no iota of a thing about.
El Rufai will continue to remain in the dug-out for others all the time cos of your senseless and baseless alterances. -Bet me
The militants supporting their brother GEJ are not less corrupt than their president. They will continue to worship him as long as he continues paying their monthly allowances for contributing negatively to the country from revenue meant for everybody. El rufai may be a hypocrite or any other name you can call him but what he has said is gospel truth
ReplyDeleteOne thing I love so much about Mallam El Rufai is that he is a good critic and a skeptic who believes that no govt can wrk without him.You and your fellow critics will continue to remain far from govt as long as you remain in the cocoon of criticism...As for the relief items is your social responsibility and a way of reducing the wealth you accumulated when in govt.
ReplyDeleteEl-Rufai was the worst FCT minister Nigeria ever had. I applaud the administration of GEJ because they are giving intellectual thought to governance and to say the least they are delivering. Part of what messed up our economy was the lack of continuity and directionlessness of the Yar'Adua's tenure that we saw several policies of obj upturned without alternative. Have you forgotten the Sanusi's banking reform that saw several job loses and business collapse. We are yet to recover and this GEJ's administration is on track. Buhari and APC have no clue about how an economy works. If El- Rufai can tell me that he has sustained himself with his salary and not looted funds that he stole from fct I ll listen to him otherwise he is not innocent. Nigerians will reject u and APC cos u lack the morality to ask for our votes. See Buhari that scuttled democracy in Nigeria. See Tinubu that could build a single road in Lagos in 8 year, see El-Rufai that messed up FCT or think we have forgotten Pentascope. Stop insulting the president and engage him on issues. ReplyDeleteEl-rufai is not done demolishing people's house without notice and due compensation. He now choses to demolish our psyche. God pass you. You and Buhari and other APC men are like vultures; your gathering means there must be a dead body at the centre. The lower vultures you created (BOKO HARAM) are busy eating up themselves. Vultures can actually eat vultures. You are not only a vulture, but also a vampire.
ReplyDeletePDP and APC are more or less different side of the SAME coin. Mostly undemocratic in character. No clear cut idealogy. Both have so many people with litu or no political goodwill to the Nigerian State. Potentially capable of committing massive corruption. And the difference. But what I do know is dt I don't want anoda 4yrs of pdp ... Odun Tutu
ReplyDeleteI luv ur comment
DeleteIt seems El Rufai is somehow frustrated from the way he talks
