INEC registers Atiku's new party



The PDM has now been registered as a political party.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has registered two new political parties, one of which is a party linked to former vice president, Atiku Abubakar.


The electoral body said on Friday that Peoples Democratic Movement, PDM, a party Mr. Abubakar has said his associates were working on registering; and Independent Democrats, ID, have been registered as new parties.

INEC said it has approved the constitution, manifesto, logo/flag and list of National Executive Officers of the two parties.

  3. It is just PDP gimmick. So that all the members of the opposition will not go to APC; just like they did when they formed APGA. It is all a game. Very interesting. My challenge is just the insecurity and loss of lives.

  5. The rich are confusing the poor (Poor in Brain, not in pocket). If we should fail again then I don't know when we would ever get it right.
