DEPORTATION ROW: Anambra youths angry with Ngige for defending Fashola

Some youths of Anambra State are not happy with Senator Chris Ngige for his alleged defence of Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola of Lagos State over the deportation of Igbo destitute from the state.

The youths, who spoke at the venue of  a rally the senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District but is now seeking to contest in the November gubernatorial election in the state on the platform of APC, said Ngige hard remembered the people of the state since he was elected into the Senate.

Dr Godson Igwe from Awka Etiti, who spoke to journalists at the rally ground on behalf of the APC youth wing, said they had privately advised him to drop him ambition for the younger ones, and to concentrate on his duties in the Senate.

The youths, according to Igwe,  were also not happy that the only time Ngige’s remembered  anyone was at election time.

He pointed out that there were young and capable aspirants like Senator Annie Okonkwo, Goddy Ezeemo in APC; Uche Ekwunife, Willy Obianor, Chinedu Idigo in APGA; Dr Ifeanyi Ubah and Joseph Nwanueze in Labour Party; and Walter Ubaka Okeke, Tony Nwoye and Charles Odunukwe in PDP; jostling to take over from Governor Peter Obi.

”Therefore let us sound a note of warning to sit tight leaders because we are around and watching”,  Igwe stated.

  1. 9ja news, there is nothing related to the deportation as you did caption.

Stop causing commotion!! Considering records, Ngige is the best person for the job; he is a man that can never be externally influenced; he is a competent person; a tested and trusted person indeed.

You know this fact, I know it, and everybody knows it.

If you have good heart for the people of Anambra, please be saying good about the just man called Ngige.
