Confusion in play. This man no know say no be so the thing dey go for here.
ReplyDeleteNo communication whatsoever...
ReplyDeleteThis is not effective communication please. Communication is deemed effective when the listener understands clearly the speaker.
ReplyDeleteMr Patrick Obahiagbon was removed from the House of Representative for his obvious lack of good communication skills. Currently he is the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Edo state. This single example shows total lack of professionalism in Edo state politics.
ReplyDeleteCorruption brought Patrick Obahiagbon to his current political position in Edo state. Is the Governor of Edo state happy about the lack of communication skills in the person of Patrick Obahiagbon? Is Patrick Obahiagbon the best person for the job of Chief of Staff to the Governor in Edo state?
Every time that Mr Patrick Obahiagbon open his mouth in public, he bring disgrace on the people of Edo state. Is this what Edo people want?

ReplyDeleteEverything he says is right. As far as he is concerned, he is communicating. You understand or you don't , that's your problem. This information is not meant for everybody. He's profession is not mass communication that he would be careful or watchful of d kind of vocab he chooses to use. He is known to be a grammarian and that's what makes him different.

He's known as a grammarian and he's trying to live up to it. That's simply his identity and he's outstandin in Nigeria.
ReplyDeleteIt is so pathetic that some people actually like this man's style of speaking the English language or rather, murdering the language. Let's try to be serious about issues concerning the image of our great nation and stop clowning or being sarcastic. Hiss.
ReplyDeleteThe world is place where unconventional approach to any issues of life is recognized. Whether we like it or not, the truth remains that Obahiagbon would not have been so recognized without his style of grammar.
ReplyDeleteComr. Martin Omobude
Well the image of the country is one thing different from communication style. He s just one man that speaks structural english. However, in the light of communicating effectively, ambiguity in the use of english should be avoided. He s a grammarian but, to speak a less, l reckon he should minise his grammar and not to confuse listener if he must to gain public audience.
