Few meters from the Military cantonment near Maryland Bus stop in Lagos; policemen collaborate with Lagos State Traffic Management Authotrity (LASTMA) officials to arbitrarily stop commercial buses and force passengers to disembark without giving any reason for doing so.
In this video, passengers asked to know why they are stopped but the police, because the policemen had no reason to give, they threatened to 'handle' them as a response to their question.
Arbitrarily, policeman also threatened to take one of the resolute passengers where he 'would not like'. This is an example of how the Nigerian police treats citizens with a reckless show of power.

ReplyDeletethats the same thing they do to private car owners at Agege, pen cinema as early as 5a.m. The Igp should better fin somethi ng to do before this hungry Police Officers overdo things and a life is lost in the process.
ReplyDeletePlease for get every police man they are thieves even last man I think it is time for Nigeria to stand up for their right. IG should call Nigeria police to order most especially those serving in Lagos if notnthe citizens will fight back one day.
