The Plateau State Police Command has dismissed two of its officers over alleged criminal conspiracy, the Commissioner of Police, Mr Chris Olakpe, said.Olapke said in Jos, yesterday, that the duo were arrested and found guilty after investigation.He said: “The two officers were found to be accomplices of some people involved in the production of arms in the state.”He said the officers were also found guilty of supplying illegal arms and ammunition to criminals.He said: “It was revealed during investigation that the two policemen are members of the arms production syndicates and suppliers of ammunition and were apprehended immediately.“In the spirit of the times, ably presented by the Inspector-General of Police, that there will not be any space for irresponsible and criminal elements in the force, the two policemen have been dismissed from the force.“This is to send a note of warning to all policemen. Once they live in glass house, they must not throw stones, and anybody fingered in any criminal activities will not be spared.”According to reports the two sacked policemen were Corporal Joseph Dakup and Constable Dakol Emmanuel. - See more at:

Where are the two policemen now? I hope they are in detension and not dismiss to the pulic to causse more arm.
