Mrs Jonathan, who returned to Abuja on Wednesday, was in Geneva to receive an award as the Online Child Protection Champion from the International Telecommunication Union.
The first lady lost her foster mother, fondly called Mama Sisi in an auto crash in Port Harcourt on Monday.
The Villa Correspondent of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that President Goodluck Jonathan was joined by former military Head of State, Retired Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the PDP, Chief Anthony Anenih, to receive his wife.
The bereaved arrived into the warm embrace of her husband at the Presidential Villa, Abuja at exactly 9.40 p.m.
Other dignitaries who joined the president to receive his wife were his mother, Eunice, wife of Bayelsa governor, the ministers of transport, aviation, power, science and technology and culture and tourism.
The Minister of Power, Prof. Chinedu Nebo, later led the gathering in a prayer session for the repose of the deceased’s soul, while Anenih gave the closing remarks.

By the way who are the parent of the 14year old girl that died with the old woman. Poor girl that is suppose to be in the classroom, they have wasted her life. I am sure she is a poor man's child because no body mentioned her parent. Their children are schooling abroad and they use another man's child as house girl.
They will pay dearly when the time comes.
