I must date with a man for 5yrs before I marry him - Nollywood Star, Eniola Badmus

Actress Eniola Badmus, popularly known as Gbogbo Bigz Girls, has earned her place in the highly competitive Nigerian movie industry as a crossover actress. Best known for her role as a street urchin, the actress in a recent interview revealed that she has to date a guy for five years before she will consider marrying him.

When asked about her marriage plans in a new interview, Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus said she must date a guy for at least five years before she will consider marrying him. Eniola said:

"What is the point if I marry today and tomorrow it's over? What's the essence? I am living my life. I will have a baby when necessary. Marriage is good but what's the essence of me getting married today and tomorrow I'm not in it? For any man I am going to marry or call my husband we should be together for five years before we walk down the aisle. We may have children but at least after five years I will know that you're ready for me. Not getting married today, and tomorrow he's out! I've seen it happen to my friends, I don't want to go through that trauma.

  1. Dating a guy for 5 yrs is not a guarantee dat d mariage wil last. Guys can pretend 4 years 2 get wot dey want. D solutn is dat u'l pray dat God'l giv u d bone of your bone.

She might be considering the single parenthood thing which could have been the reason for her decision. Staying with a man for upto five yrs of which she must have got one or two kids.

  7. Does she resemble someone who will be married? Responsible men don't go to Nollywood to marry. Only irresponsible men marry from there and such irresponsible men are ready to crash their marriage at the slightest provocation. If you like date men for 20years, your story will be the same cos goat must eat grass and dog must eat bone.

  10. You people should leave my sister Eniola Badmus alone because she is proving a point in another dimension .We can now understand why a Yoruba woman can marry different husbands in five years . The sixth marriage is always the final bus stop while the past 5 years was used as a dating period . My sister truce no wahala though you have to tell us when u will start so that we shall help u to count the years and probably It`s products .
