The Lagos state PDP in a statement has kicked against the rumoured move to install Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu’s daughter as the new Iyaloja of Lagos.
The statement.
“This new development portends great danger for our democracy and indeed Lagos integrity. We are thus calling on the Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola, not to sit on the fence at this auspicious time.
Fashola must rise up and be counted now. He must exhibit control in governance especially when Tinubu’s interest conflicts with the public interest. He must see to it that the process leading to the emergence of a market leader and any other leadership in the state is transparent, liberal and credible.”

ReplyDeletein as much as i might b crucified for saying this, the truth is Tinubu is worse than a military dictator. He is jst Using ACN to promote his personal and selfish agenda. If u mst get anytyn den u mst b in his gud books, merit counts for nothing.Look at wat he did to Mamora, cos his wife wantd to b there. its so painful that he does dse while supposed men and women of great calibre kip quiet cos of d crumbs frm d table. in a civilised society, Tinubu wld be no where the sainthood he is pontificating. Wont b suprised if his daughter gets d position, afterall its all abt Tinubu dynasty n no one can cough even d SANs and activists amongst dem. I rest ma case

ReplyDeleteI had a shop in the market and our iya oja could not say a word in english, this market is filled with educated entrepreneurs,artisans etc. All of us wished we could do something about it and watched as things changed from bad to worse.I wholeheartedly support any move to sweep away these old people from market administration but Tinubu has SHOCKED me with this imposition.
