The governor of Lagos state is pictured above buying boli (a local delicacy, roasted plantain) where it is sold, by the roadside...
It is somewhat comforting don't you think, that Gov Fashola can stop by a boli seller's corner, even if it's just to stare at the boli.
And like they say in Lagos, 'Eko o ni baje o'...

Most exemplary personality who lives by what he preaches. The only governor that moves around with no sirens, long line of vehicle escort or drive against traffic and obeys traffic lights.
ReplyDeleteAnd so what? After he leaves the roadside woman,KAI will kidnap her. So who's the fool?
ReplyDeleteThe press just like cooking up stories. Is he buying as u c him? Did u see him at least bring out cash? Are u sure he doesn't wanna arrest the seller? Pls report beta news abeg
ReplyDeleteHope he wldnt come and chase her(the seller) away in few days time
ReplyDeleteBaba youth ni yen,he remember those days.
ReplyDeleteWhat do you expect from the man of the people. A man who allows facts to be his watch dog and not carried away setimentally is always Criticised by those who knows little or nothing of his objective. I wish you will be the President of this country. Kudos his exellency.
ReplyDelete@Yany, may God be with you for always saying the truth.
ReplyDeleteI think other public office holders you learn from Babs.
Shagari moves around without siren and few of them including Buhari in some areas.
How many of ex-public-holders can try that? Could Odile and co try that?
We are watching.
Anon 7.59....you are just an angry person. As short as this article was, did you even read it? It says 'even if it 's just to stare at The Boli'
ReplyDeleteNo one can cheat a nature, Our performing governor is seriously hungry thanks for the seller for bailed him out but try to remember the seller on judgment day i.e the day You demolish with your excavator.
ReplyDeleteWhy can't we take a close look at the boli seller (as claimed), first of all you can see some crocker fish being roasted along side the boli, tell me which road side boli seller will sell boli and crocker fish along the road. Secondly the boli seller is not a local one that uses bear hands to turn the boli while roasting it, thirdly looking at the environment, it does not look like a road side rather it looks more like a party arena where you have such things and asun being served. So lets be patient, look very well before judging. Eko o ni baje o!!!
ReplyDelete... All protocols observed.

ReplyDeleteLOOL@ "No one can cheat a nature"
ReplyDeleteThe same way he used Okada to campaign round Lagos and came around banning the use. He may be thinking of bringing his own type of Boli sellers after understudying this woman. She better start packing her things.
ReplyDeleteLOL I BEG UWNA GO KILL PERSON FOR LAUGH
ReplyDeleteThis story is an old one, it happened sometime last year. It's purpose is not exactly what people may envisage but an encouragement from the Governor on micro business scheme. The boli seller in question is not a woman but a young man who must have graduated long time without job. The scene depicts that if we can add a little knowledge to all these "Small Small" business, one can eke out a living out of them rather than 419ing, robbery and idleness. GED can eat boli and groundnut if prepared on a clean environment, after all, there is no different between Mr. Biggs and Iya Amala!
