Governor Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko returned to Sokoto from Netherlands on Wednesday with a call to remove Alhaji Bamanga Tukur as the national Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP for incompetence.
Addressing his supporters at the Government House shortly after his arrival, the governor also said that the national party chairman was running the party as his personal business.
According to Wamakko, “My message to Mr. President and the leader of PDP in Nigeria, going by its constitution, you should please direct for the convening of party NEC meeting immediately to remove Bamanga Tukur from PDP Chairmanship before he succeeds in destroying this party,” he stated.
The governor gave his reasons for the removal of the party chairman as: “He is incompetent; he is running the party from his private house; up till now Bamanga did not see wisdom in going round the states in this country to say, ‘THANK YOU’ to those who voted him; up till now Bamanga did not visit any state in the federation to find out the true position of the party and proffer some guidance where need be; Bamanga is running the PDP as his personal private business.”

In as much as am not sighting Wammako, Bamanga Tukur has proved his inability 2 hold that possition. He has cause so many problems since becoming the party leader. I stand by the words of the Sokoto state governor. Remove tukur b4 PDP crash off. Matty17
