Ghanaian actress Juliet Ibrahim has come under fire, mortar and brimstones after releasing statements on her Instagram page that asked ailing singer and producer OJB Jezreel’s handlers “to reach out to the right people and stop harassing celebrities for funds”. In a fresh statement hastily released by her media manager, Juliet cries out that her words were misunderstood.


“I don’t mean for my tweets to be misconstrued and I won’t take OJB’s health problems with levity as many have misconstrued me…all I was trying to do was bring an idea of where we can get the transplant done since it’s utmost necessary we get it done soonest and funds ain’t coming in as much expected, thus, I thought we could try a better and certified centre which isn’t as expensive as the current one in UK when there are several cheaper countries to perform the surgery. Also instead of people lashing out on celebrities, they should rather be asking the government to help.

“It should be further noted that we are all finding a lasting solution to help end the pain of the talented entertainer and bring smile to his face once again and not generate issue out of someone’s suggestion or hand of help,”

She stated further ““Currently I have 2 relatives living with kidney failure whom I’m responsible for and caring for, thus, I’m no stranger to whatever OJB is going through.”

The fair complexioned actress came under fierce attack after her published statements went viral today.

    Since she isnt well publicized,maybe dis her opportunity 2 get well known. Her statement is detrimental 2 de fund raising. Actress like her have donated milliom(s) yet she's protestin. May God 4give u.

    I don't see anything wrong with her position on this matter. If truly we are interested in this guys health then we should not totally block out possibility of cheaper and yet equally effective treatment elsewhere. This guy has just a few weeks to go therefore if cheaper treatment is possible elsewhere then why not explore that option especially as there are no funds? We need to change our attitude on this part of the globe and learn to accept constructive criticism.

    She made a point u fools. Why wait for 16million whn u can get a cheaper treatment some where else? Nigerians are too greedy. They want to make much out of his predicament. Where in d world hv u sn some did a kedney transplant for dat huge amount of money?

    All of you that are insulting the girl how much have you donated to help OJB you are defending like say na your best brother. If 30,000 truly concerned citizens (like the ones above insulting Hajia Ibrahim) give N500 each, no be N15million be that. Abeg make una leave the girl...mscheewww

    Nigerian's are always coming out with stupid ideas to satisfy their greedy self..this is an option or rather advice just to get the cheapest treatment for this talented nigerian instead of waiting to get #16m..india treatment is very cheap and their doctors are reliable..pls save this man,thiefs are waiting to enrich their pockets out of this....niger may God purnish this bad people..
