The battle for the control of the APC
acronym has taken an interesting dimension with the posters of one of
the contenders, African Peoples Congress, flooding the streets of the
Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
The development came a few hours after
another rival APC, All Peoples Congress of Nigeria, announced its
intention to commence a legal action next week (Monday) to stop the
Independent National Electoral Commission from considering the
registration request submitted by the merger opposition parties under
the aegis of All Progressives Congress.
A top member of the party, Emeka
Nkwocha, said the decision “signalled the fact that the road to the
registration of the merger parties is already getting narrow.”
He said, “The days ahead will be
intriguing as Nigerians are patiently waiting to see how all these
political dramas playing out will end.”
The posters were said to have been
pasted around all the major streets and flyovers in Asokoro, Ahmadu
Bello Way, Maitama and Wuse Districts of the FCT.

this goes to tell you how dull and myopic our leaders are. so non of the crisscrossing members of our few political party could remember that there is another party using the acronym APC, just like election could not be held among 35 persons, and that Zuma rock was not in Abuja before writing that on our Hundred Naira note. These are the kind of ppl that wants to liberate Nigerians. Nija has no hope yet.
