The
former first lady who spoke at a memorial lecture in honour of the late
president in Katsina at the weekend, also said “the late Yar’adua was
not a materialist leader who believed in accumulating wealth. In fact,
he shunned material things as his slogan was service to humanity.
“There was a time he said to me that ‘Turai, I pity you because when I die you will have quarrels with my relatives because they will think I have so much money in my possession”, she said.
She said the situation in Nigeria would have been better had the late president survived his ailment because he was a “focused, committed and determined leader”.

ReplyDeletePresident Yar'adua was a great leader who would 've transformed this country for better if he was still alive, but all we have now are pen robbers who want to acquire all the wealth of this country into their pockets... May his soul rest in peace....

ReplyDeleteWhat is the difference between your past and your present tense. You have to study use english very well.
DeleteHmmmmmm! We shall continue to pray for our country. God sees our heart and all our motives. Funnily enough, when people die, it is claimed that had they lived things would have been better. Please let d dead bury d dead. Let the living try to get better daily and be patrotic as this is the only country we can call our own. Let us pray for our leaders and wish them well, maybe they will perform better. Long live Nigeria!
ReplyDeleteR.I.P my good president. Yar adua was a man i love, Service for Humanity, but the devil took him away so that God children will not be serve, but i tell you soon n very soon Nigeria will replace another Yar Adua and we all will be serve.
ReplyDeleteIt normal madam. This is Africa, even poor people who did not make it to the presidency give their widowed in-laws wahala over supposed inheritance of their deceased relative.
ReplyDeleteyes my dear you are very very correct may his lovely soul rest in peace he was a good leader and i curse the he died because since then things in nigeria are worst everything have totaly increase and the utme (jamb) this year is worst they held 40 innocent centers without reasons how i wish H.E yar'adua was till a life he would have done something but now he is death may his gentle and lovely soul rest in peace amen
ReplyDeletefemi, Yar'adua never had what it takes to lead Nigeria. he was a good man correct. you see over ambitious wives like Turai(kudirat) and the PDP maradona's sent him to his early grave. remember MKO. A man with a weak heart? imagine saddling him with PDP's problem, Nigeria's problem. even a man with a good heart is in trouble how much more yar'adua. if he were my father, I would have discouraged him from becoming the president. at least he would have lived a day longer. Turai, hope this is not another Kitchen cabinet plan you are coming out with now?
ReplyDeletewhen ever i hered abt our great leader Musa Yaradua i always share ties cos if him ve bein alive ds country could ve bein a better place, Hajia Taure take hard God is ur redeemer, may his gentle soul rest in a pafect place through de mercy of God rest in peace amen
ReplyDeleteWe pray to have a leader like yar'adua. He was the best president nigeria has ever had.
ReplyDeleteShut up! if not for your greed, u would have advised him to resign and focus on his health before it worsened. i put it to you Turai that u loved the Seat than the Man.
ReplyDeleteMAY HIS SOUL REST IN PEACE BUT TO THINK OF IT HE IS PART OF OUR PROBLEM TO BEGIN THE AMNESTY OF A TIN INSTEAD OF PROVIDING SOCIAL AMENITIES.TO U IF HE WAS NT A MATERIALISTIC PERSON WHERE DID U GET UR OWN FROM INBUILT
ReplyDeleteShut up! Leave the man alone to rest in peace. It's like you are going to be another female Obasanjo nigeria is to contend with. Other Ex- Presidents' wives are quiet. So keep quiet and don't allow us to remember your shameful insulting behaviour to nigerians when Umaru could not help us to know his whereabout. Stop this "after Death Hero" stuff. In Nigeria, you are always a hero when you die! Because the husband ( Nigeria) must have gotten a new wife ( President/Leader).
ReplyDeleteMr grammarian 3:25pm . take biro and chalk make you dey mark comment. read and add ur own oga critics make we see.
ReplyDeleteYa'aradua, the only Nigerian president to have brought down the price of petrol! If he could do it, why not others? Wasn't there subsidy during his own time?
ReplyDeleteJonathan(Ya'aradu former Vice), the only Nigerian president to have doubled the price of petrol! If not for God...
@ Femi that was a very nice one.
ReplyDelete@ 12:13 Pm, MKO's death is one of the major reasons for the Democracy you and PDP are both enjoying today though, PDP is bastardizing the system.
