The Plateau State Police Command
Tuesday paraded 25 suspected armed robbers, including a team of car
snatchers, a fake soldier and another who specializes in constructing
pistols in the state.
The state’s Commissioner of Police, Chris Olakpe, said the suspects were apprehended in different locations within the state.
Olakpe said the synergy and
collaboration in sharing intelligence between the public and the police
led to the successful arrest of the suspects. He said items recovered
from them include 25 vehicles, one AK 47 rifle, nine mm calibre of live
ammunition, two locally made pistols, one single barrel gun, live
ammunition, locally made revolver bullets, 19 cartridges, one grenade,
saw and blade, three mirror Laptops, and two HTC handsets
Olapke said, “The spirit of
collaboration and cooperation with other security agencies and all
stakeholders has eased the task of ensuring the security of life and
property”.
He called on the people of the state
to be more vigilant and report any suspicious movement and objects to
the police promptly to ensure that the peace being enjoyed is sustained.
He called on members of the public whose vehicles were snatched to come forward with genuine documents to claim their vehicles.

Bravo! Good to hear this. I only hope that when they are taking to court their punishment wont be influenced as corroption have taking over our judicial system.
