Northern elders to Jonathan: Leave govs alone, solve Nigeria’s problems

Northern elders Wednesday examined the rift between President Jonathan and governors under the aegis of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum, NGF, and passed a verdict on the matter: Jonathan should concentrate on the enormous task of solving Nigeria’s problems and stop dissipating energy on needless war with governors.
Similarly, the NEF asked Jonathan to accept the governors as partners in progress and desist from treating them as opponents, as they were elected by Nigerians to serve the diverse needs of Nigerians from the respective states just as Mr. President.
The position of the NEF was relayed by its spokesman, Prof Ango Abdullahi, while speaking in an interview in Abuja.

  1. Stupid man, keep fighting your people, you better leave the northerners alone and stay away. You think you will be out of the clear when you step down? You are a joker. You will also be probed by the same people that supported you. Make we dey watch

  2. The NEF should know that the NGF should be a partner in progress not an opposition arm of Executive. They started the battle first before your most hated,GEJ struck back. They should know that even if he is perceived as a weak Leader, he should not be taken as a fool. One day those of us fighting him will assume the position and know how it feels when your trusted ally turn against you because of inordinate ambition. I always pity my people who will never like their person as a Leader. Whether GEJ win re-election in 2015 or not, the Nigeria crises has just begun until the generality of this nation come to terms with their consciousness and act according and will should never think that APC is an alternative to the PDP or that they can even attempt 10% of Nigeria challenges.
    May God help Nigeria.
