A pupil was feared kidnapped on Wednesday on Victoria Island, Lagos.
According to unconfirmed reports, the victim is a pupil of American International School, Lagos.
Although the identity of the victim could not be confirmed as of press time, reports said he was last seen in his parents’ Sports Utility Vehicle on his way to school
The victim was reportedly kidnapped on Wednesday morning while going to school while the drivers’ whereabouts remained unknown.
It was learnt that because the victim’s parents are not in the country, domestic employees at the home of the boy’s parents took it upon themselves to report the matter to the police.
According to sources, the employees became worried after the driver had not returned home even by afternoon.
They were said to have contacted the school authorities and it was confirmed that the boy never reported at the school on Wednesday.
The car was later located through a tracking security device and found where it was parked at the Palms Mall, Lekki.
However, when contacted, the acting spokesman for the Lagos State Police Command, Damasus Ozoani, said he was unaware of the incident.
Also, all attempts to contact the school proved abortive as the telephone numbers obtained from its website were said not to be functional.

The parents left their children to go do what abroad? With domestic helps? They should be charged for child abuse.
