A man, Ali Haruna, 25, from Kano State, has been arrested by the police at the Maroko Police Division, Lekki, Lagos, for allegedly entering the Redeemed Christian Church of God, City of David, situated on Muri Okunola Street, Victoria Island, Lagos with charms strapped to his waist.
Haruna was arraigned before an Igbosere Magistrate Court on one-count charge of illegally entering a church with charms.
During interrogation, he allegedly told the police that he entered the church to pray to God.
But when asked what he was doing with the charms he strapped to his waist, he could not give satisfactory answer nor explain how long he had been worshiping in the church since he claimed he was a Muslim.
The church members suspected him to have entered the church to perpetrate evil.

ReplyDeleteU ar a big fool by using catholic name , Ewu Ghana
Deletelet me put some things straight here. And shame on the managers of this online news line, if my comment don't get posted.
ReplyDeleteFirstly I want to request for the actual date of occurrence, the service, the police officer in charge of the case and if possible, for veracity sake some pictures of the culprit.
I find all of the information posted on here as out right falsehood, stemming from a malicious intent to sully the image of RCCG City Of David. the address that was giving as the location of the church is the number one ground that makes this your false story unfounded. the church is no where in Muri- okunola because that's where I live. and secondly Maroko police station has no such case as this from the immediate past week (easter Monday to date) so please stop spreading falsehood as news..... May GOD bless You as you put your time to more profitable ventures, in the mighty NAME of JESUS CHRIST, Amen
