Governor Fashola builds first suspension bridge in Nigeria

Lagos State Governor, Babatunde has finished building the first suspension bridge in Nigeria. The 1.358km bridge, which will link Ikoyi (Alexander Street) to Lekki (Admiralty Way), cost about N29 billion to build and a toll will be collected to recoup the investment. The link bridge was built by Julius Berger.

What investment? Why toll? Why do we pay tax? Is it not the responsibility of government to provide the neccessary ameneties for her citizenry? So many unanswered questions in this country!

ReplyDeletePlease I will use the bridge and pay the toll. It obtains EVERYWHERE in the world. Nigerians too like osho free that is why things don't work here.

Out of all God's creatures human beings are the most terrible no wonder God regrets creating the race. If rain falls they will complain, if there is sunshine it is complain and if both come moderately it is a problem. Who will satisfy the human race? I salute the courage of God. Fasola, continue with what you are doing criticism is inevitable but it is unfortunate that many are unreasonable with their criticism.
