Nigeria's u-17 national football team have qualified for the final of the African U-17 championship after defeating Tunisia 4-2 in a keenly contested semi final match played Marakech, Morocco, Wednesday.
The Nigerians scored three quick goals early in the first half to take a commanding lead before the Tunisians seized the initiative and pulled two back before the break. The first half ended 3-2 in favour of the Golden Eaglets.
The second half resumed with the Nigerian lads looking hungrier as they surged forward in search of more goals. Their effort soon paid off as they scored the fourth goal before the final whistle.
With this result, Nigeria will clash with Ivory Coast in the final of the tournament. The Ivorians defeated host Morocco 2-1 in the other semi final played in Casablanca Tuesday.
