ACN faults Jonathan’s comments on 2015 elections

ACTION Congress of Nigeria, ACN, Ekiti State chapter, yesterday, said the statement credited to President Goodluck Jonathan that Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, would capture 32 states in the 2015 general election, was an invitation to anarchy.

Briefing newsmen in Ado Ekiti, state ACN chairman, Chief Jide Awe, described the statement “as an invitation to anarchy and a serious concern to all right-thinking Nigerians,” arguing that “the words ‘capture’ and ‘war’ have serious meanings and both are tendencies for destruction.”

Awe urged well meaning Nigerians not to take the statement lightly since what the president said was a sensitive matter that should be taken seriously.

She lamented that the President had indicated that the 2015 elections might not be free and fair.
He said: ” Action Congress of Nigeria demands serious explanation from the President for referring to Nigeria as a captured nation.”

I believe he is not inviting the military to take over the governance of this state because all the words he (president) used are military’s.

“You don’t capture with votes but with arms and ammunition. This has been orchestrated within the PDP fold since its inception.”
