For the first time in about 10 months, the leader of Jama'atu Ahlil Sunnah Lid da'awati Wal Jihad, better known as Boko Haram, has appeared in a new video, asserting that his sect has not suspended its violent attacks and rejecting dialogue with the Nigerian government.
In the nine-minute video that is being circulated in Nigeria, Imam Abubakar Shekau describes as fraud and lies, the dialogue purportedly being undertaken by one Imam Abdulazeez on behalf of Boko Haram. He says there none of his officials is known as Abdulazeez and he doesn’t know the said Abdulazeez.
"It is a lie, there is nothing like ceasefire or dialogue going on with government,” he says. “We have never sat in any meeting for dialogue, we have not and it is not true that we are talking with Nigerian government. We don't know the Imam Abdulazeez, he is not speaking on our behalf like he claimed. He is not one of us, I don't know him.
"There are procedures of dialogue as it is spelled out in Islam, they are busy arresting our people, small boys and women and so they are not serious with any dialogue and we are also not interested in any talking with them. We are only doing God's work and serving Him and not men."
He further maintains that the time for any dialogue effort with the Nigerian government has passed, and that no further talk about dialogue will be entertained by the sect.
He accused the government of continuing to arrest members of Boko Haram, as well as their wives and children, sometimes on the pretext that they are armed robbers. Click to signup for FREE news updates, latest information and hottest gists everyday

ReplyDeleteBoko Haram or whatever you call yourselves , you are a BUNCH OF ILLITERATE BASTARDS. WHICH GOD (god) ARE YOU SERVING?. Come out like the Niger Delta Militants did and then tell us what you are fighting for. Is Islam a religion of BLOOD!. Please STOP using Islam to practice your stupid quest for money. BASTARDS!!!.

ReplyDeleteThese fellows are clearly deluded. They claim they are fighting for their god as if their god can't fight for himself. Who is greater than the Almighty? All He needs is to say it and it shall be as He wishes. Everyone, everything on the surface of the earth and above bow to his wishes. So in the real sense ot no one can fight for him. Anyone who arrogates those powers to themselves are deluded and will perish in hell fire! Let His will be done not ours!
ReplyDeleteWhy is it that you people just do not seem to get the point? @Anonymous 7:17, how is dialogue going to solve anything? These people are fighting because their religion tells them to. When are you going to get that point!? You even said it yourself, they are brainwashed, so how can dialogue solve anything? @Anonymous 8:10, again, you don't seem to be getting the point, they are not fighting for any of the same reasons the niger-delta militants are fighting for. They are fighting because the quran says "Fight those who do not believe in Allah" and their so called prophet says "I have been commanded to fight against people until they testify that there is no god but Allah"
ReplyDeleteYou guys need to wake up to the reality. Boko haram says they are fighting for Allah, the quran says they are fighting for Allah, the hadith of Mohammed says they are fighting for Allah, at what point are you just going to believe that that's the reason they are fighting?
9jaguy! Is it by killing Innocent soul dat will justify fighting 4 Allah? Comon if u wuld have fall victim or any of family is involve (killed)u won't type wat u have wriitten above, hw dos Allah want us to fight? Simply go 4 dos dat r against His wish,nt forcing pple to become a muslim,b4 d bokoharam leader was born did Allah send message to him to kill innocent ones, which will automatically change every1 to muslim? Capital NO! His Preaching alone wuld have win many souls to become a muslim n nt by killing
ReplyDelete@Anonymous 6:57. Mohammed did not win people over by preaching alone, in fact he only had less than 100 followers using that method. Read the hadith! He robbed caravans, he fought violent wars, he killed his critics (even a pregnant lady who wrote criticized him in a poem); he generally oppressed people into becoming muslims. If he did not force people to become muslims, and did not fight against non muclims, then explain the following quranic verses to me:
ReplyDeleteQuran 9:29 - "Fight those who do not believe in Allah..."
Quran 9:5 - "Slay the infidels wherever you find them..."
Quran 98:6 - "They are the worst of creatures (Jews and Christians)"
