Former US president Bill Clinton, President
Goodluck Jonathan, Governor Fashola, Bola Tinubu and many top dignitaries
attended the opening ceremony of the first phase of the Eko Atlantic City which
held in Lagos yesterday.
Eko Atlantic City is a new city born from the
Atlantic Ocean in Lagos. The new 5-million-square-metre city, is to be the first
modern smart city in Africa to be built on reclaimed land from the Atlantic
Ocean.

we're a Country that relishes ceremonies more than hard work. After all the ego-massaging sharing of the spot light with such an imposing personality like Bill Clinton, everyone will go home and begin to sleeep. In two to four years time, nothing more will be heard of the entire project - which would have been abandoned! Except perhabs, that the ocean has reclaimed its space! So much for 5,000,000 Sq.Mtr city.
