A few hours ago, He backtracked and  has withdrawn his resignation. see his official statement Below

My attention has been drawn to reports in the media that I have resigned my appointment as the Head Coach of Super Eagles of Nigeria.
While I have had cause to express my displeasure over some issues that happened in the course of our participation in the AFCON 2013, which my team won by the grace of God, especially concerning my relationship with the Nigerian Football Federation, I have since had opportunity to discuss the various issues with all concerned. I am therefore pleased to say that I have reconsidered my position and have decided to continue with my job.
I want to thank the Honourable Minister of Sports, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, for his swift and kind intervention.
Signed
Stephen Okechukwu Keshi

  4. Praise Allah for blessing the Nation with the glory of winning the Cup.
I thank our able Coach, his Assistants and the Great Team for the job well done.
It is a pity this country is surfering from people of intergrity. Where was our President at the Stadium when the match was played? What glory do we expect from his foreign trips that stopped him from watching the match in South Africa?
The Coach mentioned bad attitude of NFF toward him and the great team. Yes, we can not expect their support because they will not get a single Dollar from Local Coach. But thank Almighty Allah that proves them wrong.
How could NFF be thinking of booking return flight for our Players that were preparing for a great encounter?
Mr. Coach, a lot is rotten in our society. We must keep praying to Almighty Allah for patriotic leadership.

  6. Steve, please do not take any rash decision again in your life. If you are convinced to resign, please do so and do not be like our useless clueless dealers. Cheers Okey. Shalom.

  7. You are a very disgusting and disrespectful citizen! How many foreign Presidents watched the final match or the tournament? Must you always insult the President? Be careful! Meanwhile, Keshi, thank you. You have shown patriotism.
