Nigeria Football Federation yesterday gave out US $30,000 to each member of the Super Eagles for qualifying for the quarter final of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Super Eagles yesterday defeated Ethiopia 2-0 in a tension soaked match played in Rustenburg. The Eagles qualified alongside Burkina Faso from Group D.
Burkina Faso on the other hand ended their tie with Zambia 0-0 at the Mbombela Stadium, Nelspruit. The result ensured the elimination of Zambia that ended third in the log with 3 points from three matches.
Do you think it was a good idea giving out US $30,000 each to the Super Eagles players to encourage them? or not

This is stupidity. I believe is high time our country realized the seemingly possible impossibility. This act never started today as their will definitly be intoxications amidst the players sense of play rather than courage. The country might be right to have done what they did but the remarkable questions here are, does the end point of football means money?,should the spirit of football be bought with money or determination?. The players should come to an awareness that they re playing their part for the smooth going of the whole(nigeria) and for the common good. These money should ve been better channeled to avenues that require immediate attentions. We seems to mistake the part for the whole, the eradication of lakaidesical attitude towards football among our players has nothing to do with money. Untill we realize our basic goals we would never wake up from our operational slumber.
