Plane crash at Moscow airport kills 4


Four persons died on Saturday when a Russian Tupolev-204 operated by Red Wings Airlines slid off a runway at Moscow’s Vnukovo Airport onto a highway.

Russian television reports that the aircraft was carrying nine passengers and four crew when it attempted to land for the second time after failing the first time.

Red Wings is a budget airline owned by Alexander Lebedev and operates nine Tupolev-204 aircraft.

The Russian Red Wings Airlines flight was arriving to Vnukovo International Airport from the Czech Republic.
