Naval Helicopter Crashes in Bayelsa. High Ranking Government Officials on Board


FOUR persons have been reportedly burnt in a helicopter crash that occurred in the forest of Okoroba community in Nembe local Government of Bayelsa State.

 The  crashed helicopter said to be a Naval helicopter carrying high ranking government officials was said to have occurred at about 4: 30 pm, a few minutes after take- off from the community.

It was gathered that the victims were returning from the funeral of the father of the Special Adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan, Douglas Oronto to Yenagoa the Bayelsa capital when the helicopter crashed. The helicopter was said to have burst into flames.


The identity of the victims of the crash are not known as at the time of filing this report. There are several reports that A serving Governor and Former National Security Advisor were on the flight, but we are trying to confirm that.

May GOD forgive you for your heartless comment on the fatal lost of another man,If nageria leaders are terrebly bad,that makes the followers two times terrible,they have finished their race be mindfull of your own end and stop celebreting nothing.   7. my good people nigeria with this kind of incidents happening? does it mean our leaders are not save?. l urges our leaders to be good leader because no one know when will his/her turn, so that we can have a good account to present before God no the judgement day.
