President Goodluck Jonathan on Saturday said his younger brother, Meni, died of cardiac arrest on November 20, 2012.
Dressed in a black attire with a matching trademark fedora hat and shoes, Jonathan described Meni’s death on his (President’s birthday) as “too painful.
The President accompanied the casket of the late Meni to the funeral service at about 10am and said his late younger brother succumbed to an inflamed heart and later died of cardiac arrest.
But Jonathan who was accompanied by his wife, Patience, his mother, Eunice, his children, wives and children of the late Meni said there were no signs of death when the late Meni accompanied him to Abuja after his private visit to his hometown.
