Kogi State Governor, Idris Wada, has been reportedly moved to a private hospital in Abuja for medical attention, following an autocrash on Friday.
Wada was said to have sustained injuries in one of his legs when his official car somersaulted after one of its tyres burst on Lokoja-Ajaokuta Road.
His Aide-de-Camp, ASP Idris Mohammed, died on the spot while his driver escaped unhurt.
The governor was rushed to Lokoja Specialist Hospital and then flown in a helicopter to National Hospital, Abuja.
Sources said his family insisted on moving him to the private hospital from the National Hospital, Abuja to enable him to receive specialist attention for his injuries.
No comment was available from the state government on his transfer to a private hospital, as his aides merely said he was “stable.” Click to signup for FREE news updates, latest information and hottest gists everyday
