The Enugu State government Sunday, debunked the rumours making the round that governor Sullivan Chime has passed away.
Chime was reported by some publications to have passed on at an Indian hospital on Saturday, after battling an undisclosed ailment for some months.
The State Commissioner for Information, Mr Chucks Ugwuoke who confirmed this to Vanguard on Sunday, described the news as unfounded.
According to him, the governor is doing well and will soon return to the state from his vacation

It is only in Nigeria that public office holders hide there illness from their electorate. President Chave of Cuba announced to his people the illness he is suffering. Why not Nigeria
ReplyDeleteWhat is the big deal about being sick? Nigerian leaders are just too crafty & Corrupt. This attitude is as a result of having too much to hide. So they don't want anybody taking over and finding out the atrocity they have and are committing. At least till they are ready to leave office. wen will all this irresponsibility end?
