The IGP, in a statement issued Monday in Abuja explained that findings have shown that the victims were not armed robbers but had gone to the area where they met their unfortunate death to demand for money allegedly owed to them by one Coxson Lelebori Lucky, alias ‘Bright’, who raised a false alarm that the victims were armed robbers.

  1. Nigerians have no morals, little or no thought is given to the sanctity of life, and no respect even for the dying. If only one person had had the courage to stand up and demand an end to the torture before it resulted to these young men dying. It pains me continuously that people stand behind the cloak of Christianity and behave even worse than people without God do. I bet you most of the ppl there had at some point been to church, a true christian should think first "would Jesus do this, or condone it" before acting. The blood of these kids are on the hands of everyone who was present at the scene, lighting the match wasn't the gravest act, being a witness and not speaking up is equally as bad. I hope this boys haven't died in vain, and a lesson is learnt that law should prevail in all things, Policemen are called to start doing their jobs, protection of human life being the fundamental one and be content with their salary. Doctors who took an oath to help preserve life should stop asking for a deposit before treating patients. All Nigerians should

  4. Thanks our Police. Please track them wherever they are hiding, we don't care how long it'll take. These persons must face the full wrath of the law for their pure evil on defenseless students.

  7. Interesting ... Oga IGP , even if they were?, we wait to hear how your men behaved during this horrible incidence , were they at the scene as reported , were they contacted , if they were what was their reaction. Oga IGP , as the chief security officer of this country , I have no doubt there is so much security issues you are grappling with but unfortunately , you have the most insane and ineffective people working for you . If I were you , honestly , I will spend some good time sanitizing your work force , not with mouth as we do in Nigeria, but actually doing the deed .

  8. This act is not just about the community but the Government. People have lost believe in our security system their (police) blind attitude toward bribery. If you give a criminal to policemen, they end up letting him go on bribe. There is total breakdown in the of security of this nation. What we listen to on a daily basis about the way and manner how government had turned federal funds into a personal affair is making poor and average Nigerians grow angry and wicked everyday. People now believe jungle justice is the surerest way to pass judgement. One of the senator made a statement on the 8th of Oct and i quote '' the rich should start taking care of the poor otherwise the rich would not sleep because the poor are wake''. God plz change Nigerians.
