In the phase, President Jonathan will also visit flooded parts of Anambra State, Delta State, Bayelsa State and Rivers State.
The tour started after the inauguration of the committee he set up to raise relief funds to the victims of the flood.
The committee, styled , National Committee on Flood Relief and Rehabilitation, established as part of measures by the Federal Government to provide urgent succour and relief to victims of devastating floods across the country, was announced by Jonathan in a broadcast to Nigerians Tuesday.
It has Alhaji Aliko Dangote and Mr. Olisa Agbakoba as its Co-Chairmen and Mike Adenuga as the chief fund mobilizer.

ReplyDeleteNationwide flood beyond FG, States -- Jonathan
The same Punch Newspaper Headline of 13 October 2012 reads:
Jonathan, Sambo, Anyim to spend N1.59 Billion on WELFARE.
How many people are victims of the flood? If so much could be spent for the welfare of only three, not counting sundry expenditures, shouldn't thousands of hapless citizens be supported?
Do your maths. I rest my case.
If your basement is really flooded you would need to call a professional flooded basement cleanup company. If you do not have the extra cash to pay for these services you can do the cleanup yourself.
