TB Joshua named in Ghanaian footballer’s wife’s withcraft confession

The wife of a former Premier League goalkeeper, Richard Kingson, has reportedly confessed to being behind the crash of his career.

The Sun UK reports that Kingson’s wife, Adelaide Tawiah, confessed on a television programme organised by televangelist TB Joshua’s Synagogue Church of All Nations, that she cast a spell on him.

Kingson, 34, has played in the top flight for Birmingham, Wigan and Blackpool and is the most capped player with his native Ghana.

But since he was released by Blackpool last year he has been without a club and lost his place in the national squad.

The report said Kingson’s wife claimed she sparked her husband’s loss of form with a black magic spell — and made him impotent for good measure.

The report quoted her as saying that she “messed up Richard’s life ever since we got married. I used my evil powers to trouble his career.

“I’ve been working on him spiritually, to the point he could not perform in bed.”

Her confession came as TB Joshua was casting out the “evil spirit” that allegedly had a grip on her, the report said.

Richard, who wed Adelaide following the 2010 World Cup, on Monday went on Facebook to insist, “My wife is not a witch.”

He said people were often possessed by “false spirits.”

Since last week’s broadcast Adelaide has also denied being a witch — saying it was the spirit that was being cast out that spoke.

She said, “I can’t even remember what took place.

“I am not a witch as it has been rumoured. My husband knows how inspirational I have been to him throughout his goalkeeping career.”

  1. I have never seen nor touched a hard copy of ur publicaction but it,s my favourite. Pls be careful with how you headline ur news. This headline can cause negative rumours from those who don't read inside stories. Thank you and God bless TB Joshua the more.

  2. How should the headline have been cast? I think "named" was used as a euphemism for "accused" or "indicted," or "fingered." The woman and husband merely stopped short of accusing Joshua, a conclusion the readers are left to arrive at.

  3. I forgot to add that TB Joshua sells the news. The footballer and his wife are not newsworthy, otherwise you would not have read it in the first place let alone know that your pastor "daddy" was involved.

  5. Safari, I don't know what you intend to achieve, but it is very clear that you are out to smear Prophet TB Joshua.
I am neither his fan nor his follower but the truth must be told.. The headline is definitely misleading..

  6. I totally agree, the heading does not caption the story, kindly review it and correct accordingly. thank you.

  7. I am yet to figure out the real reason behind the erroneous and mischievous headline behind this otherwise pedestrian story. Could it be attributed to the declining and abysmally low standard of our journalism, especially, news editing or to some misguided 'jankara' reporter out to malign an individual for unknown reasons. I think readers deserve much better standards!

  9. The question is: was TB Joshua mentioned in the confession? That is the meaning of the word "named." He was named. Well, majority carries the vote. If you all say the headline does not represent what the headline says, I rest my case. One love!

  10. Safari, Majority Carries what? You were right all along. it was a report from the Sun UK and TB Joshua was mentioned in the report. The Headliners have not done anything wrong. Maybe it was a bit sensational, but believe me, if the topic did not catch your attention, you may not have read it.

  11. Anonymous,
How are your comments moderated in this article as you always claim. Please be careful about what you publish, else, you will lose your vast followership. It's not everyone that reads the headline that will want to read the inside story.

  12. Very wrong subject.
Kingsons wife confussed to be behind his husbands misfortune in TB Joshua minitry would have been a better subject. They need more orientation in their so called carrier.

  15. What is wrong with the headline?

  16. The headline was definitely misleading. Getting readership does not let you off the hook. The headline could have better read as: "Top Ghanaian footballer's wife confesses to witchcraft". Or: Kingson's wife claims credit for his fall during deliverance".
