Livi Ajuonuma’s Son Campaigns against Dana Airline Reopening

Levi Ajuonuma’s son, Obinna who evidently still feels the pain of loss in the crash that happened three months ago, has begged Nigerians to please join in the force to stop the restoration of the Dana Airline license. This is a serious call that has woken most Nigerians that lost their loved ones in  the crash and they it’s a serious plea. This is the message he has given below…

This is a very important message! I need your help my friends.

I need you to join me and others in signing the petition that will STOP DANA AIR FROM OPERATING AGAIN IN NIGERIA or anywhere in the world!

Dana Air crashed on the 3rd of June, killing 153 people, including Dr. Levi Ajuonuma(my father). This airline was well aware that the aircraft was faulty but still took flight that fateful day! Now, 3 months after the suspension of their license, the Federal Government has decided to lift the suspension! The wounded hearts are still bleeding and not being taken into consideration here!

Please join forces with me and the families of the faithfully departed, and sign the petition. The link is below.

Thank you for standing with us against a system that really does not care about YOU!

  1. This is in line with my reaction to the reinstatement news of yesterday, in this same medium. Only Nigerians can fight this federal executive madness. None else but us.

  2. To my mind, lifting the restriction on Dana Air is in bad faith, not minding the huge loss of lives, carelessness of. Dana Air managers, and the government's value for her citizens' lives. Too bad! India will nott permit such loss. It is even moreso painful that our government did not bother to explain to us why they think it right to lift this ban, when families abd friends of those who died are still grieving. Insensitivity indeed! Pls ban Dana from this market. Bernard.

  3. I agree wt him. Dana Airline must die a natural death unless it is absolved of blames in the last crash. Its very unfortunate that the report of the last crash is nt yet made known to us and its operating licence is being restored. So sad.

  6. Is Dana the first airline to have its plane crashed? People should leave out sentiments and address the real issue.

  7. Sorry i disagree and would not join him in protesting. Was his father not part of the problem in Nigeria , the rot and corruption in NNPC?? did he (obinna) not emjoy all his father's ii gotten wealth. I know some people might say i sound very wicked and callous but the truth is that the evil that men do will catch up with them. God shall not be mocked. His father was part of NNPC that sold adulatrated kerosene to poor people with people dying where was he then??? Let him just carry his cross and go and take care of his mother and siblings with our money and not stop whipping sentiments

  10. I am also of the opinion that the federal govt. allow those who place high premiunm on human lives to operate ailine business. Dana was careless and was only consign about the money and not the lives that were at risk.

  11. Please I quite sympathize with the families that lost their lovely ones, but as much as we can lets try not to be sentimental about this whole things please.

Accidents do occur every where, and it has never mean an end to business. Dana airline is some peoples investment also with several workers on it payroll as well. In the past we had belview and sosoliso too. Lets kindly get hold of our emotions please.

  14. Dana air is not the first airline that has crashed in Nigeria.

Moreover, the airline has undergone vigorous inspection processes and the FG deem it fit to lift the ban.

I think henceforth, dana will be one of the safest flights with respect to what they've passed through lately.

All we should be talking about will be sustainability.

Barely three months ago that most Nigerians lost the light in their household, a voice they know so well is gone and stilled, due to poor/improper management procedure and lack of maintenance and commitment by the Dina Airline management. lifting of the ban so soon makes my heart bleed, i have never seen a government that don't feel or mourn with it's citizen. A lineage was wiped out on 3 June, imagine that your loved ones were among[decision makers],people are still wallowing and mourning,DANA air should not operate in Nigeria again

  16. Why will they not restore DANA's licence, how many Ministers or Senators died in that crash? If at least one or two of them had been involved, then you would have seen the senate & house of reps go into action. Personally I think DANA should be grounded for life! That crash could have been averted if some people in DANA's management did not value money making over people's lives. Ground DANA for life and others will take note!!!
